Pay4Me is a method of establishing a call between participants using USSD messages and voice inquiries to gather data and set-up voice connections between two parties.
The Pay4Me service consists of three subsystems that run on the SI3000 OSAP:
- Unstructured Supplementary Service Data Gateway (USSD GW),
- Interactive Voice Response (IVR),
- Back-to-Back user agent (B2BUA) call-setup subsystem.
Components of the P4M service are:
- USSD Mobile Initiated (USSD-MI) module, which receives a request message for service generation,
- IVR part, which informs the called party about the request and gathers the payment acknowledgement,
- B2BUA module, which sets up a voice connection between parties,
- USSD Network Initiated (USSD-NI), which generates messages about the status of the P4M request.
Benefits
The main advantage of the SI3000 OSAP P4M functionality is that the solution works with any mobile network (it is mobile-network-vendor independent).
