The SI3000 PQMS represents the framework for the realization of the performance-data collection, processing and presentation in networks containing specific third-party products.
It also enables the realization of the required open interface to support interactions with the higher-level Performance Management part of the usual Service Assurance OSS.
The tasks of the SI3000 PQMS are the surveillance and supervision of parameters that are tied to the functioning of network elements and particularly useful for QoS measurements for the IP service.
The network administrator can view reports generated by the application to determine the network capacity and to analyze usage trends.

The SI3000 PQMS is able to cost-effectively comply with any requirements for the performance and quality monitoring in a particular network. The architecture of the SI3000 PQMS application software ensures its adaptability to be installed on a single-server platform as well as to be installed distributed over a Rack or Blade multi-server compounded platform. To comply with the high-availability requirements, the SI3000 PQMS can operate on one or more stand-alone pairs of servers configured as two-node clusters, running in the “Active/Standby” regime. In such a compounded, highly available server configuration the management data are highly available, stored externally on a storage device, situated in the Storage Area Network (SAN).
