These exhibitions were of interest for those who would like to learn more about Slovenia and its people, about the European architectural and cultural heritage. Important mission of this project is to share with Kharkovites the joy of the opening, first impressions of Ukrainian artists – Roman Minin, Alexey Yaloveg, Oleg Vinnik-Shtep, while traveling about Slovenia. After all, first impressions are always interesting, always memorable.
Slovenia is the country, where the preservation of cultural heritage, respect for tradition and contemporary art are seen as an integral part of life. It was such a special attitude of Slovenes to art and culture that helped them preserve their national identity. Vladislav Bondarenko managed to demonstrate it intuitively in his photo-project, which tells about the ancient architecture of the country (project “Photoarchive”), as well as about modern Slovenia (project “Slovenia / ART scanning”).
Further Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia in Kharkiv plans to show these exhibition projects in Kiev, Odessa, and also in Slovenia.
