Iskratel, the leading European infocommunications vendor and solutions provider, has been shortlisted as a finalist of the Network Functions Virtualization Innovation Award for its vIMS solution at the World Communication Awards 2017.

Iskratel’s vIMS solution has already been deployed by a major European Tier-1 operator which is now able to provide enhanced services to SIP-based customers and interconnect customers on legacy equipment, as well as reduce OpEx and Capex. It was this use-case, combined with the innovation and outstanding performance of the solution, that earned it a place on the World Communication Awards shortlist. The winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony in London next week.
