Iskratel has successfully upgraded the fibre network of French Internet Service Provider (ISP) ZEOP – enabling the operator to deliver enhanced, triple-play services to its customers and gain additional revenue within just one month of installation.

With initial contact to completion in less than six months, ZEOP is already seeing the benefits of the installation of Iskratel’s GPON FTTH Home Gateway Innbox G68 solution, which was deployed across its whole network on Réunion Island in three months. Within one month of installation, ZEOP was able to provide ultrafast downstream and upstream speeds to its customers – enabling it to meet the demand for bandwidth-consuming Ultra-High Definition (UHD) content, Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and internet data.

A new customised, centralised management system, based on Broadband Forum’s TR-069 protocol, is also enabling remote control and configuration of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), optimizing network operation, reducing operational expense and allowing problems to be fixed before customers complain.
