Iskratel has announced it has successfully carried out a security audit test for national telecommunications provider, Telekom Slovenia – enabling the operator to increase its network security and mitigate its risk to cyberattacks ahead of its transition to 5G networks.

The audit was carried out to identify cyber security attacks associated with Telekom Slovenia's voice services for its residential and business customers in Slovenia to continue protecting its customers' valuable data.

Drawing on its expertise of multi-vendor core-system interconnectivity, Iskratel provided Telekom Slovenia with clear detailed recommendations on all found vulnerabilities for both long-term and short-term risk mitigation, as well as supplying an extensive report of performed tests and ensuring minimal downtime for the operator.
