Peterborough, ON, Kranj, Slovenia, Sept 1, 2020 – Lindsay Broadband and Iskratel have partnered to offer end-to-end GPONand XGS-PON solutions to customers in
the Americas.
Lindsay Broadband’s current optical
solutions include RFoG, nodes, headend, passive, subscriber termination, and
FTTx solutions. Iskratel adds their European designed and manufactured GPON and XGS-PON OLTs, ONTs, managed node system, and CPE customization tools.
These user-friendly, rugged and programmable solutions guarantee the lowest cost of ownership and the best price-performance with their
software-defined, dual nature.
The Iskratel SI3000 Lumia line of GPON and XGS-PON OLTs
are user-friendly, programmable, compact, temperature-hardened, cost-effective
devices, and were designed to future-proof networks. The SI3000 Lumia is a pioneer of software-defined access, introduced to
the market and field-proven years before competition. An industry-leading
temperature range (-40°C to +65°C or -40°F to +149°F) makes SI3000 Lumia
deployable not only at the headend/hub, but also in less controlled conditions
such as street cabinets.
Extremely
scalable, the SI3000 Lumia OLT fits all deployment densities, from high density
urban to low density rural areas, while its modular design with multiple
chassis options, and a variety of subscriber connectivity interfaces, address
every possible use case in the broadband access network. Fully equipped with
XGS-PON or GPON blades, it provides fiber-optical access to up to 36,864 users
from a single chassis. Compact 1RU OLTs (SI3000 Lumia G16 and SI3000 Lumia XG4)
are optimized for smaller deployments, addressing both residential and business
users.
The SI3000
MNS (Managed Node System) is an effective and reliable management solution,
enhanced with comprehensive functions for service provisioning. With central
inventory and service repository, the SI3000 MNS is a true service-enabling
platform for new applications and new revenues. The SI3000 MNS is a unique
product for centralized network management and OSS/BSS automation. It can be
tailored to meet the specific needs of broadband operators, enabling them to
focus on new services and apps, and to respond to customer needs. The SI3000
MNS guarantees resilient and reliable operation, with a platform that scales
seamlessly.
Lindsay also offers the
Iskratel Innbox line of customer premises GPON and XGS-PON bridging ONUs, GPON gateway ONTs, Ethernet home
gateways (RGW), and EasyMesh™ Wi-Fi® extenders, to assure
triple-play services with the user’s quality of experience in mind. The Innbox line brings a carrier-class, high-end networking
solution for advanced triple-play services. Complying with the latest ITU-T
G.984 GPON standard, Innbox GPON ONTs are designed for service providers to
meet the demand for high-speed connections. They offer data rates up to 2.5
Gbps in the downstream and up to 1.25 Gbps in the upstream. Innbox ONTs
are designed for indoor applications, as a cost-effective alternative to
outdoor solutions, and significantly lower the CapEx of advanced FTTH
deployments.
