An agreement was closed between the Central Telegraph company (Qwerty trademark) and Iskratel, a telecommunications equipment developer, on the deployment of a multifunctional media center. Iskratel closes an agreement with three major telecommunications companies in Russia

During the official visit of Dr. Danilo Turk, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, to the Russian Federation, the Iskratel company signed three bilateral cooperation agreements in the field of telecommunications: with the Saint Petersburg-based Severo-Zapadnij Telekom, Samara-based Volga Telekom, and Transtelekom.
